The original wooden shoes from Holland

The most famous part of the Dutch costume are
probably the wooden shoes.
Not too long ago they were approved for
industrial use (CE-marking) by European Community
regulations, something Dutch users knew for centuries
of course!

Wooden shoes are therefore not only abundant in
souvenir shops, but are also worn by many farmers,
roadworkers, and bulbgrowers as cheap, long-lasting
and safe working shoes.
